Bellefair Kew Beach Residences, Toronto, 2000 Queen Street East
If you like the street appeal of an old church, but prefer well lit spaces typical to currently built condominiums, Bellefair Kew Beach Residences might fit the bill.
This is a project by Reserve Properties, completed in 2015. The original church building has been gutted, with only three walls and the roof remaining, and has been divided into a prestige retail space on the main level, with 23 condo units on the upper levels. The top level contains eight one and two-level penthouses, six of which will have access to private rooftop terraces.
Landscaped central courtyard separates the main building from six condo townhouses, which occupy the north part of the property.
The units feature 10-feet ceilings in the principal rooms, Scavolini kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, wide plank engineered wood floors, balconies or terraces with gas outlets for BBQ and water connection for a hose, and high speed wiring for Internet and entertainment connection.
